Job Summary
The Accounting Associate supports the Tax/Accounting Division by contributing to the timely preparation of accounting, bookkeeping and consulting activities for the Firm’s clients.
Essential Job Functions

· Enter weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll in QuickBooks.
· Prepare and submit weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll tax payments.
· Prepare and submit monthly sales tax payments.
· Reconcile monthly bank accounts.
· Prepare financial statement reports.
· Prepare and file payroll tax forms with federal and state government agencies.
· Perform special consulting projects which includes but is not limited to data entry, verification of data entry, file organization, etc.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online preferred.
Education and Experience
· Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent required.
· One (1) year of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience preferred.
· Experience working for a public accounting firm preferred.
· Experience working with Indian Tribes and related entities preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to travel, including driving and flying, approximately 10% of the time.
· May work remotely when not attending mandatory on site work activities.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
