Position Overview
As a Site Supervisor, you will champion the overall operations, compliance, and community culture of your designated children’s center. You will ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality educational environment by aligning daily operations with NC Pre-K guidelines, Head Start Performance Standards, and the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE).
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee and manage site functions to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal programs (including DSS Subsidy and CACFP Food Programs).
- Instructional Leadership: Support the high-fidelity implementation of the Creative Curriculum by actively collaborating with and coaching teaching staff inside the classroom.
- Team Building & Culture: Lead the interviewing, onboarding, and orientation processes for new site hires. Cultivate professional growth utilizing Reflective Supervision, CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and CLASS frameworks.
- Family & Community Engagement: Positively engage families to foster a deep understanding of program benefits and requirements. Advocate fiercely for the needs of your center's children, staff, and families.
- Safety & Behavioral Support: Serve as a core member of the site team responding to and supporting classroom behavioral needs. Maintain a culture of safety by proactively identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
- Data Management: Utilize ChildPlus to monitor compliance, track center data, and ensure seamless program documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a closely related field from an accredited college recognized by the NC DCDEE.
- Credentials: Must possess a North Carolina Child Care Administrator Credential, Level III.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience administering or directing an NC-licensed, 5-star child care facility or program.
Salary : $47,000 - $59,000
