Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Floater to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves providing support in various classrooms, assisting teachers with curriculum implementation, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students. The Preschool Floater will engage with children in activities that promote learning and development while fostering positive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Assist with the supervision of children during playtime, meals, and transitions.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and adapt curriculum based on individual student needs.
- Provide care for our youngest population, including children under one.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom setting.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and staff.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development theories.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
