This role is designed for an attorney who wants to actively litigate cases, not simply manage files. You will work closely with an experienced legal team while taking ownership of cases and developing your skills as a litigator.

Trial Experience

- First-chair depositions
- Motion hearings
- Mediations
- Jury trial preparation and participation
- Our goal is to help attorneys develop into confident courtroom advocates while building strong cases for clients.
- Manage personal injury litigation cases from filing through trial
- Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Prepare cases for mediation, hearings, and trial
- Develop a case strategy and damages analysis
- Maintain consistent and supportive client communication
- Collaborate with case managers and legal staff to move cases efficiently
- Juris Doctor (JD) and an active license to practice law
- Litigation experience, including motions practice, depositions, and court appearances
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and courtroom advocacy abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
- Compensation
- Base Salary $100,000
- Bonus Production-based bonus tied to case performance and results

Compensation

Responsibilities
- Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
- Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses
- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
- Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
- Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
- At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney
