EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS MANDATORY
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
WORK EXPERIENCE MANDATORY
1. Demonstrated experience working in DoD contracting (R&D preferred).
2. Experience leading teams.
3. Experience supporting ~300 annual contract actions.
4. Experience implementing acquisition process improvements.
5. Experience managing stakeholder expectations.
6. Experience in high-profile environments (O6/GO level).
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS NICE TO HAVE
DAWIA Level II or FAC-C Professional (or equivalent under DoD “Back-to-Basics” framework)
WORK EXPERIENCE NICE TO HAVE
- 5-7 years total procurement/acquisition experience
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Senior Procurement Specialist / Lead (GS-13 equivalent) serves as a senior-level acquisition professional responsible for executing, coordinating, and overseeing contracting actions across the Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC).
- This position functions under the leadership of the Senior Procurement Analyst / Program Manager (GS-14), providing technical expertise, quality assurance, and mentorship to junior procurement analysts and acquisition staff.
- The incumbent ensures procurement actions are legally compliant, strategically aligned, and efficiently executed in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and NGB-AQ policies.
