Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling, process payments accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools, and provide correct change
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Create Cocktails to order
- Understanding of wines and local beers
- Bartending experience preffered
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant bar experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially in fine dining
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure guest safety
- Experience with food handling, food preparation, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
- Attention to detail is essential for accuracy in orders and payments
