As the first point of contact for guests, you will set the tone for their experience by providing warm, professional, and attentive service. About The Role
We are seeking a Host to be the welcoming face of Èlephante Scottsdale. You’ll manage reservations, assist with seating, and ensure seamless front-door operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Guide guests to their tables as directed by the maître d’
- Manage reservations and accommodate walk-in guests
- Answer incoming calls and assist guests with inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting entrance area
- Ensure menus are properly stocked, organized, and up to date
- Assist in coat check services (where applicable)
- Work closely with the maître d’, servers, and management to optimize seating and flow of service
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown of the front desk area
- Attend pre-service meetings and participate in training sessions
- Adhere to all company appearance, health, and sanitation standards
- Uphold a team-oriented attitude, assisting fellow staff as needed
- Previous host experience in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, or nightclub
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive demeanor
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
