Seasonal – Cranberry Harvest

Wisconsin River Cranberry is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team during the annual cranberry harvest season. This is a hands-on position working as part of a team to safely and efficiently harvest, handle, and prepare fresh cranberries.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with cranberry harvest operations in the marsh.
• Responsible for pulling sprinklers prior to harvest for each bed.
• Assist with loading and unloading cranberries.
• Fill and move cranberry bins.
• Assist with sorting, cleaning, and handling fresh cranberries.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and facilities clean and organized.
• Follow all food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company safety procedures.
• Work safely around equipment, vehicles, water, and other employees.
• Assist other departments and employees as needed during the harvest season.
• Perform other general harvest duties as assigned by management.
• This position will work outside on the marsh as well as inside production buildings

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable attendance is required.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Must be comfortable performing physical work for extended periods.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as required for the position.
• Previous agricultural or cranberry harvest experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be willing to follow safety and food-safety procedures.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn are important.

Work Environment

Cranberry harvest is a fast-paced, seasonal operation. Employees should expect to work around water, wet and muddy conditions, machinery, trucks, and other farm and processing equipment.

Schedule

Season: September 15th – November 30th
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 7:00am- 4:30pm

Pay: $17.00 per hour
