JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job description Service Technician Inspections,
Repairs & Installations Primary: Perform OSHA Safety inspections,
repairs and maintenance on overhead hoists, cranes, and related material
handling machinery & equipment. Work within a team to install or modify
overhead crane systems. Service repair and/or installation of
specialized material handling equipment including scissors lift tables,
conveyor systems, lifting magnets, vacuum lifters, and other similar
equipment. (not forklift repair or service) Electrical / Mechanical
experience with troubleshooting, service and maintenance experience with
Industrial and Manufacturing equipment preferred. Many different work &
climate environments including working in our shop as well as a variety
of customer manufacturing plants plus Great Lakes Freighters. We provide
a company owned service vehicle, iPhone and iPad. Candidate must be able
to pass a background check including driving record for this position. T
ake your service vehicle home and be dispatched directly from home to
the job site. Typical 40-hour week could include some overtime but most
of the work is done Monday Friday during regular business hours. Double
time is paid for any scheduled weekend work. Safety Training provided:
Training Required - must have certification for the following: Prior
certification is a Plus! OSHA10 or OSHA30 training Crane and Hoist
Operation, Rigging Above and Below the Hook MEWP Mobile Elevating Work
Platforms (Commonly known as-Aerial Lifts, Scissor & Boom Lift;
Forklifts, Manlifts, Vertical Lifts) LOTO PPE Electrical Hazards Safety
Training Welding/Cutting/Hot Work Training HAZWOPER Confined
Spaces-permit required training First Aid/CPR Training Compressed gas
Safety Training Hand & Power Tool Safety Training Overhead and gantry
cranes Bloodborne Pathogens Ladders / Fall Protection Confined Spaces
