Duties

  • Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to understand their wireless needs and preferences.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features, benefits, and functionalities of various wireless devices and plans.
  • Assist customers with selecting the right devices, accessories, and service plans that best fit their lifestyle.
  • Perform upselling by recommending additional products or services that enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts.
  • Maintain an organized retail space by merchandising products attractively and ensuring shelves are stocked with the latest items.
  • Assist in inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks to ensure product availability.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Support team members through supervising experience when needed, helping to train new staff or assist with daily operations.
  • Conduct product demos for customers to highlight features such as device capabilities, network coverage, and compatibility.
  • Keep up-to-date with new products, promotions, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical details in an understandable way.
  • Experience with POS systems for processing sales efficiently and accurately.
  • Proven retail sales experience, especially in electronics or grocery store environments preferred.
  • Supervising experience is a plus for supporting team operations and training new staff.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that attract customers.
  • Customer service skills that foster trust and loyalty through attentive listening and problem-solving.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, discounts, and inventory counts confidently.
  • Phone etiquette for professional communication via phone or online inquiries.
  • Experience with upselling techniques that enhance customer value while increasing sales volume.
  • Familiarity with grocery store or retail environments is advantageous for understanding fast-paced settings.
