The Opportunity: Associate Technical Solutions Engineer / Specialist
WCCTV is seeking a motivated and outgoing Associate Technical Solutions Engineer / Specialist to join our team and work closely with our Sales organization to demonstrate our video surveillance and safety platform to new and existing enterprise customers.
This role is ideal for recent graduates who enjoy presenting technology, solving problems, and working with customers. As part of our early career solutions engineering program, you will learn how to translate technical capabilities into real-world business solutions while helping organizations understand how our platform improves safety, visibility, and operational performance.
You will gain hands-on experience working with customers, supporting enterprise sales opportunities, and developing expertise in video surveillance platforms, security technology, and AI-powered analytics. Key responsibilities include:
Deliver Customer-Facing Technical Product Demonstrations
- Lead engaging live and virtual demonstrations of our video surveillance platform which provide technology solutions to security leaders, IT teams, and business executives.
- Presents complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling way while showcasing key capabilities including real-time monitoring, video analytics, alerts, search, and reporting.
- Tailor product demonstrations to customer use cases across industries.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with Sales, Product and Engineering teams.
Partner with Sales to Win Deals
- Collaborate with Territory Sales Executives and Sales Managers throughout the sales process.
- Help translate customer challenges into technical solutions.
- Support proof-of-concepts, product trials, and pilot deployments.
Video & Security Technology
- Develop expertise in modern video surveillance systems, IP cameras, networking, and cloud-based security platforms.
- Gain hands-on experience with customer deployments and real-world environments.

- Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in one of the above fields preferred.
- Experience in video surveillance, networking, cloud or cybersecurity industries preferred.
- Minimum of one year of business development and/or sales experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of sales principles, business development and sales and marketing strategies utilized in a consultative sales approach preferred.
- Experience in conducting sales presentations, technical product demonstrations or product training preferred.
- Prior experience collaborating across teams such as Sales, Product Management, Engineering, or Customer Support preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts and information into clear business value for customers.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written required.
- Analytical, problem-solving and ability to translate customer insights into product improvements.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and identify applicable products to meet requirements required.
- Previous experience using CRM, product analytics tools, and documentation platforms required.
- Positive attitude, adaptable, and resilient in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to relate and build rapport with internal staff and customers required.
- Strong time management, organization and problem-solving skills required. Ability to work under pressure and with shifting priorities is a must.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, demonstrated initiative and focus on delivering high quality results leading to improved customer satisfaction.

Candidates must currently have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the US; no visa.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary up to $55,000 depending upon education and work experience with an additional sales incentive pay up to $15,000 per year for total on target earnings of $70,000 per year.

- 401(k) Plan with Company match up to 4% with immediate vesting.
- Ten (10) days paid vacation per year increasing with length of service and seven (7) paid Company holidays
