Job Summary The Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst reports to the AR Manager and plays a critical role in managing collections, analyzing overdue receivables, and addressing customer inquiries regarding their accounts. The Analyst ensures the accuracy of financial records within the AR subledger, oversees reconciliation with the general ledger, and manages the netting off intercompany transactions with international legal entities. Responsibilities • Manage collections by conducting dunning activities, contacting customers via phone and email to secure payment commitments for overdue invoices. • Analyze the customer aging report and past due receivables(31 days), providing detailed collection notes and insights. • Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to address client balances and resolve disputes. • Collect payments through customer portals for designated accounts. • Execute account reconciliations and resolve disputes with customers, ensuring timely and accurate collections. • Resend invoices upon customer requests and handle billing inquiries, researching payment issues as needed. • Support month-end close activities by netting off AP/AR intercompany transactions, processing credit memos, and reconciling the AR subledger with the general ledger. • Investigate customer accounts and transaction detailsto resolve issuesrelated to non- payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. • Review and release sales orders after evaluating credit limits and payment histories. • Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes accountability, customer service, and effective communication Key Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus. • 5 years of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable. • Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented mindset. • Comfortable working with targets and deadlines. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels, both written and verbal. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. • Expertise with ERP systems is a plus.
