Winston Locums is seeking Board-Certified OB/GYN Physicians for multiple locum tenens opportunities in Fort Collins, Colorado. We are supporting the launch of a new obstetrics program with both outpatient clinic and inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking competitive compensation, long-term assignments, and a choice of daytime, overnight, or weekend coverage.

Seeking physicians who can commit to a minimum of one week per month, with opportunities for additional coverage and longer-term assignments.

Position 1: Outpatient OB/GYN Physician – Daytime Coverage

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Daytime Labor & Delivery coverage Monday–Thursday
• Primary OB call rotation, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Reduced clinic schedule of approximately 6–8 OB patients when assigned primary call
• Secondary physician backup call structure

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
• Perform office-based procedures
• Perform scheduled gynecologic surgeries, with robotic technology available
• Provide daytime Labor & Delivery coverage, including cesarean sections and operative deliveries
• Manage obstetric emergencies and provide physician consultations
• Collaborate with midwives and advanced practice providers
• Participate in primary and backup physician call coverage

Position 2: OB Hospitalist – Overnight & Weekend Coverage

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (In-house overnight coverage)
• Friday–Sunday: 24-hour weekend coverage opportunities
• Weekend call arrangements available, with specific coverage expectations to be confirmed

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient Labor & Delivery coverage
• Manage obstetric emergencies
• Perform cesarean sections and operative deliveries
• Provide gynecologic emergency department consultations
• Manage unassigned obstetric patients
• Coordinate care with the daytime OB/GYN team

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Experience managing Labor & Delivery, obstetric emergencies, and cesarean sections
• Ability to provide independent physician coverage
• Must meet facility credentialing and malpractice history requirements

Assignment Details

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado

Compensation: $290–$310 per hour for hourly coverage

Weekend Call: Separate compensation structure; details available upon inquiry

Anticipated Start: November 2026

Contract Duration: Long-term needs extending through November 2028

Setting: Outpatient OB/GYN Clinic and Hospital-Based Obstetrics
