Your Performance Mission
As the AP Specialist, you are the guardian of vendor relationships and financial accuracy for a high-volume distribution hub. You will manage the full-cycle AP process for three distinct locations, ensuring that every part number, quantity, and freight bill aligns perfectly before payment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision 3-Way Matching: Verify invoices against receiving reports for part numbers, quantities, and pricing across multiple sites.
- High-Volume Processing: Post verified invoices into a legacy ERP system (AS400/iSeries) and manage critical monthly payment cycles.
- Logistics Oversight: Verify freight bills for both incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure cost accuracy.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain manufacturer Certificates of Conformance (CoC), manage W-9s/Resale Certificates, and support government billing requirements.
- Vendor Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, maintaining high "email etiquette" and professional standards.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience: 1 years of related AP experience (Distribution, Manufacturing, or Logistics background is a significant plus).
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in AS400/iSeries or similar legacy ERP systems is highly preferred; comfort with Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.
