Golf Course Grounds Crew — Now Hiring
Location: Winnapaug Country Club | Westerly, RI
Employment Type: Seasonal | Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Pay: $18 – $22/hour (based on experience)
Season: April – November
The Role
We're hiring motivated, reliable individuals to join our grounds crew for the upcoming season. You'll help keep the course in top condition — day in, day out. No experience necessary. We'll train you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough
- Weedwacking and string trimming around beds, bunkers, cart paths, and fence lines
- Raking and maintaining bunkers
- Moving tee markers and changing cup locations
- Operating blowers, edgers, and utility vehicles
- Assisting with course setup each morning
- Maintaining ball washers, flags, and tee towels
- Hauling materials, removing debris, and general course upkeep
- Light landscaping — pruning, weeding, mulching as needed
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to work early mornings and weekends
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable operating mowers, trimmers, and small equipment
- Able to lift 20 lbs
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team
- Golf knowledge is a plus but not required
