Duties
- Assist in managing daily golf course maintenance activities, including turf care, landscaping, and general groundskeeping.
- Support irrigation system operations, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal watering schedules and water conservation.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, power tools, hand tools, and other machinery to keep them in top condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of the course to identify areas needing attention or repair, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to execute mowing schedules, Spray plans, Handwatering and pest control measures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or education in horticulture, landscaping, or turf management is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest management.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining course quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
