Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing daily menus, ensuring variety and nutritional balance
• Prepare, cook, and serve meals following established recipes and safety guidelines
• Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation standards
• Support catering events and special meal occasions with efficient food preparation and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Serve meals to residents or guests in a courteous, timely manner
• Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
• Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly techniques
• Experience working in casual dining settings or restaurant environments is advantageous
• Demonstrated skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
