Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and attentive service.
• Manage POS systems for order entry, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while accurately balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist in setting up the bar for service, restocking supplies, and ensuring all food handling protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with team members during busy hours to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems for sales processing and cashiering.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service abilities to create welcoming environments for diverse clientele.
• Experience in casual fine dining restaurants and high pace work environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and bill splitting.
• Familiarity with food industry standards such as serving etiquette and TABC alcohol regulations.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
