Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, or common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, and mopping to keep surfaces spotless and safe
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, and high-touch areas
- Conduct regular janitorial tasks including trash removal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and courteously
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe environment for all
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings preferred
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments highly desirable
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning agents and equipment
- Experience with housekeeper management or supervising cleaning teams is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or residents
