Duties
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality cleaning and sanitation standards are consistently met.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety procedures aligned with industry best practices.
- Oversee industrial and commercial cleaning operations, including janitorial tasks, laundry services, and specialized sanitation processes.
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to hospitality or hotel standards.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and motivation strategies.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping management within hospitality, hotel, or commercial settings, 2 years minimum
- Extensive custodial experience with a focus on cleaning, sanitation management, and safety regulations.
- Strong background in industrial cleaning techniques and managing janitorial operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Experience coordinating laundry services and managing custodial supplies in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent managerial communication skills combined with leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and accountability.
