Summary
As a Cashier/Stocker at Wine Districts, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment for our customers in Frederick, MD. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions at the cash register and assisting with inventory management to ensure our shelves are well-stocked and organized.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Assist with receiving and organizing inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Educate customers on product selections and promotions to enhance their shopping experience.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory management as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
- Basic knowledge of retail math is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
