- Negotiate terms, pricing, and financing options confidently to close deals that satisfy both the customer and dealership objectives.
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage inventory effectively by coordinating with sales support teams and utilizing CRM software to track customer interactions and follow-ups.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with excellent phone etiquette during outbound sales calls and in-person meetings.
- Provide comprehensive product presentations, including public speaking engagements when necessary, to educate customers about vehicle features and benefits.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for attracting B2B (business-to-business) clients and expanding our market reach.
- Support the dealership’s overall sales management efforts by organizing appointments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact to final sale.
Skills
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales with a strong understanding of inventory management and inventory control.
- Exceptional communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus) to connect with diverse customer bases.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with a results-driven attitude to close high-end sales successfully.
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing leads, tracking sales activities, and maintaining customer relationships.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for calculating payments, trade-in values, and profit margins.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage a busy sales pipeline efficiently while supporting outbound sales efforts like cold calling.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards, dealership operations, and B2B sales strategies is highly desirable.
