Duties
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables or designated service areas, ensuring presentation quality.
- Assist servers by delivering food efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and handling.
- Clear and reset tables quickly to prepare for incoming guests, supporting overall restaurant cleanliness and organization.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or modifications.
- Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions to answer guest questions confidently.
- Uphold all food safety standards and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, including roles involving serving, bussing, or food handling.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for understanding order flow.
- Experience with banquet service, catering events, or hotel hospitality enhances your ability to adapt quickly in diverse settings.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and engaging positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures ensures quality service and compliance with health standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is required.
