Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality across all menu items.
- Manage daily shift operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow in a quick service or casual dining setting.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Train and develop team members on food safety standards, proper food handling, and customer service excellence.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment aligned with food safety standards.
- Support staff interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives to build a motivated and skilled team.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within a quick service or casual dining environment.
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in restaurant or hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
