Dispatch Associate

Position Overview: The Dispatch Associate ensures that the company maintains a reputable relationship with our WindowRama customers. In this role, you will be responsible to maintain an open line of communication with the customers and the truck drivers and other departments as necessary to coordinate the delivery process of materials. They are also responsible for scheduling drivers to pick up and deliver to customers or vendors and maintaining the relationship with our shipping partner. Strong office skills, including written and verbal communication, is required. Essential Job Functions:Communicating with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests, accommodating route changes as needed.Answer questions of our customers in regard to time of delivery and what items are being deliveredPreparing dispatch documents, as well as generating freight bills and invoices.Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.Reviewing drivers’ logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times.Liaison between WindowRama customers and our shipping partner Logging customer shipping schedules and complaints.Run reports to check for quality assurance dailyKey Competencies:Advanced use of Microsoft Office Multitasker who enjoys working in fast-paced environmentDetail oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilitiesTop performer who can instill pride of workmanship in self while also motivating team to excelPassionate about WindowRama and loves the brandHighly motivated, flexible, and positive, professional demeanor Required Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentProficiency with computers (Microsoft Office, Google, IBM AS400).Prior customer service or dispatch experience is preferableWhy WindowRama?Competitive pay and benefits packageOpportunities for career growthA supportive and collaborative work environmentFun, team building days and eventsSalary and Benefits: $18 - $20 per hour, based on experienceHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePet Insurance401K MatchingPTO (Paid time off)Paid HolidaysHours and Schedule:Full-time; Monday through FridayIn-Office (no remote)Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Physical Requirements:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
