What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Secretary - Part-Time position at Windham Primary School?
As the initial contact at Windham Primary School, we are seeking an upbeat, kind teammate to work with parents, children, staff and visitors to our building. Your day will be busy but full of little smiles. This is a part time 28.75 hour/week, school year position. This position is not benefits eligible.
Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products are required (slides, docs, sheets, calendar). Infinite Campus knowledge a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills; judgment and initiative; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; the aptitude to work independently and good customer service skills required.
The following is a listing of some of the anticipated duties of this position. This is not an inclusive listing:
1. Initial contact person for anyone coming to the Primary School. Log students, contractors, volunteers and Staff as they come and go!
2. Use of Raptor for issuing badges to volunteer, visitors, contractors as needed.
3. Answer phone!
4. Communicate with staff via radio, telephone, email and intercom.
5. Absence/Tardy input,
6. Input, bus and change of plans passes
7. Daily paperwork
8. Conference room scheduling - mail delivery - photocopying - contact person for photo copiers and printers (Toner replacement and calling for service) - Scheduling school use during and after hours - monitor cameras - submit work orders if needing repair.
9. Perform other duties that may be reasonably requested by the building administrators.
