What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - part time (working w/ 4 year olds) position at Windham Primary School?
Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to provide evaluation services, direct intervention, and consultation services for students in grades PreK -3.
Understanding of Maine Special Education Law regarding Speech/Language Services is required.
Experience in the completion of Speech Language Impairment Eligibility form.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Provision of case management services to students identified under Speech/Language Impairment
* Writing IEPs given student needs based on evaluation data
* Providing direct services to students
* Providing consultation services for students to IEP team members, including special education and regular education teachers
* Participation on District-Wide Speech PLC team
* Participation on building-based PLC teams, including grade-level teams, special education teams, RtI teams as needed
* Direct consultation with outside Speech Therapy agencies
* Support of Students using AAC devices
* Billing MaineCare for speech sessions as required
