Administrative Accounting Assistant.
We are a busy Continuing Care Community with Resident/Patients in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facilities.
The position requires general accounting knowledge in order to process Accounts Payable and resident billing, mainly for our Independent and Assisted Living.
- Accounts Payable-Invoice approval, expense coding and processing Accounts Payable Invoices in Quickbooks
- Check matching, mailing and filing
- Post Cash receipts and miscellaneous resident charges
- Enter new leases/ discharged residents and account adjustments
- Generate and mail resident statements
- Billing Month End closing
- Various spreadsheet
- Census distribution
- Mail and package distribution daily
- Assist in greeting visitors
- Assist and address resident or family concerns
- Work with Controller on Preparation for audits and other Government requirements.
- Respond to Emergency call system
- Other miscellaneous monthly accounting and general office tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Prior experience working in an Accounting environment processing Accounts Payable and Billing
Quick Books and Point Click Care experience preferred
Excellent communication and organization skills
Efficient time management in order to meet deadlines
Ability to stay focused while working in a multitasking environment
Must have great Customer Service and problem resolution skills
Desire to work with the elderly
Job Type: Full-time
