Position Summary:

As a Buyer, you will be a part of a knowledgeable team who is supportive of each other and other departments- and has fun getting stuff done!

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 1-3 years purchasing experience or related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree or Bachelor degree or equivalent encouraged, not required
• Ability to efficiently and creatively collect, research and analyze data to make decisions and solve problems
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Responds well to questions, with clear precise answers. Participates regularly in meetings; communicating in a positive manner with all levels of personnel (written and oral)
• Ability to work and communicate with remote locations and personnel

  • Make versus Buy decisions
  • MRB activity: rejections, RTV's, reworks, Supplier notification
  • Invoice issues related to spot buys and contract pricing

• Build relationships with suppliers
• Negotiate various supply chain attributes
• Make open suggestions for improvements in company practices, across all departments

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is 55,000-65,000 per year, plus incentive compensation. Exact pay amount will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
