Service Technician - Winchester

Winchester Equipment Co., is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team in Winchester, VA. We sell, rent and service industry-leading Kubota agricultural, Bobcat compact equipment, Toyota material handling and Stihl outdoor power equipment, along with various top-of-the-line equipment used in commercial, residential and agricultural projects.

Position overview
As a Service Technician, you will perform diagnostic, maintenance and repair work on compact equipment including skid steers, compact track loaders, excavators, tractors and related equipment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills who take pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Bobcat and other compact construction equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance, hydraulic and electrical repairs and component replacements
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Accurately complete service reports and communicate repair needs to service advisors and customers

Qualifications:

• 2 - 4 years of experience as a Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Bobcat, Kubota, Caterpillar, John Deer or similar brands preferred)
• Technical or vocational training in diesel, mechanical or heavy equipment repair a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely in a shop or field service environment
• Must provide personal tools for use
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
