We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering concepts and an interest in electrical design, engineering drawings, and electrical systems.
This role is suitable for fresh graduates who are looking to build their careers in electrical design and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard engineering tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in designing and developing electrical systems, circuits, and control panels.
- Prepare and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Assist senior engineers in electrical design calculations and component selection.
- Create and maintain electrical engineering drawings and documentation.
- Assist with selection and specification of electrical components, cables, breakers, relays, contactors, and control devices.
- Review engineering drawings and ensure designs comply with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Support the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with mechanical, production, procurement, and project teams as required.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical design and technical issues.
- Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation activities.
- Ensure drawings and documentation are updated based on engineering changes.
- Follow company quality, safety, and engineering standards.
- Stay updated with electrical design practices, technologies, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

- Strong understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, power distribution, control systems, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar design software is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Internship or academic project experience in electrical design.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.

- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and relevant IEC/IS standards.
- Ability to prepare electrical drawings and documentation.
