Looking to add another Programmer to our team
Immediate opening for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer.
The candidate selected for this role will interpret technical drawings and use knowledge to set up metal working processes, work holding fixtures, process steps, and equipment and tooling selection. Efficiently write programs on 2&3 – 5-Axis machines using Fusion 360 and AutoDesk. The programmer will setup and prove out processes on 5-Axis Okuma & Haas machines.
Measurement and inspecting own parts using CMM, micrometers, calipers and various other inspection equipment.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace engineering, Mechanical, Design or Automotive Engineering is a plus
Experience as a Race Engineer or Race Car Designer in Nascar, IMSA ,Indy Car or F1 is a plus but not required
4-8 years of hands-on experience in product development environment 4-8 years in programming 5-Axis (Automotive product development is a plus).
Computer Skills: CAD or related design software. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Minimum of three (3) years' experience programming 5 Axis Machines
Minimum five (5) years' related machining and tool development.
Certificate in Machining Technologies or equivalent experience
Ability to read and interpret Blue Prints/Technical Drawing
Ability to set up machines quickly and accurately for next job
Able to clearly communicate and document process for machinist.
Strong knowledge of Machine tool technology and tooling applications
Knowledge of machining high tolerance parts. Experience with GD&T.
Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail-Oriented.
Reliable and dependable.
