What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Department - Bookkeeper position at Wilson County Schools, TN?
Qualified applicant must have minimum of high school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education is preferred.
Must have completed accounting coursework (preferably college-level), posses a basic understanding of generally accepted accounting procedures, and have at least three (3) years of experience in the field of accounting so that with appropriate training assigned duties may be carried out. This position will be responsible for bookkeeping, monitoring and tracking budgets, inventory, scheduling, and secretarial duties of the Academic Department in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
This is a full-time, 12-month assignment with insurance and retirement benefits. Pay rate will be determined by comparable work experience and placement on Grade 10 of the Hourly Classified Salary Schedule. Starting rate of pay will be no less than $21.07 per hour.
