What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Library Assistants - Youth Services position at Wilson County Government?
Part-Time Library Assistants for the Wilson County Public Library are responsible for assisting patrons with Internet searches, accessing materials using the online catalog, providing information regarding library programs and services, arranging and maintaining book displays, planning and presenting educational programs, and performing other related work as needed. These jobs will include regular day, evening, and weekend hours.
Two positions are available in the Youth Services Department of the Main Library in Wilson. Assigned locations are subject to change based on the needs of the library.
The minimum qualifications for this position are an Associates or Technical degree, experience providing service to the public, and a valid N.C. driver’s license. Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
