The Opportunity
The Demands Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Accountable for
- Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
- Maintains filing systems as assigned.
- Corresponds with clients and adjusters.
- Arranges for signature of settlement agreements.
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
- Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department.
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experienced in shepherding a process along, lots of back and forth with internal stakeholders and clients externally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
- Spanish Speaking is preferred.
- $25.00 - $29.00 per hour depending on experience
