Wilroads Feedyard is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily feedyard operations. The successful candidate will provide leadership in cattle care, feed operations, employee management, equipment maintenance, safety, and overall operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily feedyard operations
- Supervise and develop a bilingual workforce
- Oversee cattle health, receiving, processing, and shipping
- Manage feed mill, feed delivery, and facility maintenance
- Promote a strong culture of safety, animal welfare, and accountability
- Monitor operational performance and key production metrics
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of commercial feedyard experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of cattle health, nutrition, feedyard operations, and equipment maintenance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience with AccuTrac or similar feedyard software is a plus
