Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food service industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Provide recommendations for food and drink pairings, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully and meet quality standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures, maintaining a balanced cash register at the end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts as needed.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
