What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Development Rep III/Sr position at Williams?
As Commercial Development Rep. Sr., you'll monitor and evaluate the success of our natural gas marketing and transportation programs and strategy and report on trends and patterns. You will collaborate with business partners to negotiate and execute sophisticated agreements that help us meet our business objectives. The ability to cultivate and nurture a network across functions, understand how changes in the market place affect business and influence others to gain support and dedication are keys to success!

- Collaborates to create and customize contracts and develop solutions that are mutually beneficial to Williams and the customer
- Evaluates cost/rate of return in combination with other deal terms; provides feedback on development of economic analysis of commercial opportunities
- Understands and communicates Williams market perspectives to customers; proactively interacts with customers' leadership to build and maintain relationships
- Negotiates sophisticated business opportunities to expand existing accounts and our asset footprint
- May lead training and mentor others

- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics or relevant field and minimum ten (10) years’ commercial experience
- Preferred: MBA
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to understand contract details and resulting business impacts
- Demonstrates understanding of energy market fundamentals and economics, including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions
- Understands all components of a deal structure and can evaluate risk/reward potential
- Previous commercial experience with proficiency in economics, marketing practices and contracting
- Executes contract renewals, restructurings, and amendments in alignment with long‑term marketing and commercial strategy
- Serves as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned customers, developing a thorough understanding of contract structures, customer objectives, and long‑term value opportunities
- Coordinates the commercial execution of projects and growth initiatives across internal stakeholders
- Translates customer needs and market insights into actionable enterprise growth and planning initiatives
- Understanding of the energy industry
