We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitting Foreman to lead our kitting operations and support production readiness. This role is responsible for overseeing daily kitting activities, ensuring materials are accurately prepared, staged, and available to meet production schedules while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the daily kitting process and team activities.
- Ensure materials, components, and kits are prepared to support production requirements.
- Oversee the cutting, labeling, assembling, staging, and replenishment of kits and consumables using the Kitting App and established work processes.
- Ensure kits and materials are prepared accurately and available to meet production schedules.
- Verify that components are cut, labeled, assembled, and staged according to specifications.
- Ensure kits are accurately assembled, identified, and ready for use.
- Coordinate the movement of materials and completed kits to designated storage and staging locations.
- Maintain inventory readiness by overseeing the replenishment of consumables and production kits.
- Monitor adherence to kitting schedules, work instructions, and system-directed tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure quality standards are met by using approved materials and promptly reporting quality concerns.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support efficient operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, kitting, or material handling operations required.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse software is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production schedules.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
