Willamette Valley Bank is seeking a personable and welcoming Client Service Specialist who enjoys building relationships with customers, community members, and fellow staff. As the face of Willamette Valley Bank, you’ll greet visitors warmly, assist with routine banking transactions, and help connect customers with financial solutions that support their goals.

Some of the Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing friendly, professional assistance to customers and prospects both in person and over the phone
• Handling everyday transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and wire transfers with accuracy and care
• Responding to basic account inquiries and helping customers navigate their banking needs
• Working collaboratively with team members to create exceptional and personalized customer experiences
• Demonstrating commitment to customer and bank success by following safety protocols, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to regulatory compliance and fraud prevention practices
• Identifying opportunities to connect customers with products and services that support their financial goals
• Managing cash and performing transactions with attention to detail, while following established procedures and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, cash-handling environment with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn bank systems and procedures
• Organized and able to manage time and tasks efficiently
• Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations
• Basic math skills and ability to perform routine calculations
