Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Lead to lead our millwork department. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a team of employees, ensuring efficient task allocation quality control. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and executing the department’s workload.
- Setting directions for the team and ensuring efficient task completion.
- Collaborating with other shop leads, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Monitoring quality of completed pieces to ensure accuracy, craftsmanship, and that they meet company and client specifications.
- Conducting annual department reviews.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints- Understand and follow detailed drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce custom woodwork and millwork pieces.
- Operate Machinery- Utilize various machines such as saws, sanders, shapers, and molders to cut, shape, and finish wood products.
- Material Selection and Preparation- Choose appropriate wood types and prepare materials for cutting, shaping, and assembly, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Assembly and Fabrication- Assemble wood components to create finished products such as cabinetry, furniture, trim, and other millwork items.
- Maintain Equipment- Perform routine maintenance on woodworking machinery and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
- Safety Compliance - Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Education/Experience/Skills:
Required:
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive work environment.

Desired:
- 4 years of millwork experience desired, but not required.
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
