Your responsibilities will include:

• Prep wood surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning prior to finishing
• Apply stain, paint, lacquer, and other finishes to cabinets, panels, doors, and trim
• Match colors and sheen levels to approved samples and project specs
• Inspect finished pieces for quality, consistency, and defects
• Sand and rework pieces as needed to meet standards
• Operate spray equipment and other finishing tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain clean spray booths, tools, and work areas
• Follow safety procedures when handling coatings and chemicals
• Work closely with production team to keep projects on schedule
• Read and understand shop drawings and finish specifications

Key Qualifications:

• Experience applying stains, paints, lacquers, and clear finishes in a woodworking or millwork environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of sanding, filling, and prepping wood surfaces
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and finish specifications
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:

• Millwork Finishing: 2 years (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sanding: 1 year (Required)
