Subsidized Housing Management Company seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant/Receivables Clerk at their Rocky Hill, CT location.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones and processing maintenance requests
  • Responding to emails promptly and courteously
  • Processing rent payments.
  • Reviewing delinquent accounts and sending late notices to residents
  • Preparing accounts for collections process when applicable
  • Writing letters and memos to residents as instructed and within deadlines provided
  • Respond to inquiries for applications for housing.
  • Monitor and maintain all waiting list responsibilities.
  • Running ads for available apartments for all complexes and ensure compliance with Marketing Plan established for each community.
  • Performing Utility Studies for all tenants and provide data reports to Property manager for budget preparation.
  • Vendor Compliance Documents
  • Assist with Administrative Responsibilities for recertification specialist and property manager.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Windows
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be a quick study in computer-based programs (training to be provided)
  • Organizational skills a must
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently after appropriate training
  • Must excel in writing and be able to create/produce letters that are grammatically sound
  • Must be a team player and willing to go above and beyond to get work completed as assigned.

Preferred Skills:

  • MRI Software Experience
  • HUD or USDA Experience
  • Property Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
