Job Summary
- Supervise students during after-school activities, including homework time, enrichment activities, recreation, snack periods, transitions, and dismissal. - Monitor assigned areas of the campus, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, playgrounds, cafeterias, parking lots, and other designated areas, to ensure student safety and appropriate conduct. - Maintain high visibility and active supervision throughout the assigned work period. - Assist students with homework, reading, educational games, arts and crafts, physical activities, and other age-appropriate enrichment activities. - Support the preparation and implementation of daily activities under the direction of the ELOP
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Previous experience working with school-age children in a school, childcare center, recreation program, summer camp, tutoring program, youth organization, or similar setting preferred. - Experience supporting after-school, academic, recreational, or enrichment activities preferred. - Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification within the period required by the WPACS. - Must successfully complete all required background checks, health screenings, and employment clearances. - Must meet any applicable federal, state, local, charter school, or program-specific employment requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to supervise students actively and maintain a safe, structured environment. - Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with children and adults.
