Job Summary
Possible start date: July 1, 2026 -Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner -Answer and direct incoming phone calls; respond to inquires accurately and efficiently -Maintain visitor check-in/check-out procedures in accordance with school safety policies -Maintain office logs -Manage student attendance records, including tardies and early dismissals -Support office coordinator with filing, data entry, copying, and scanning -Distribute detailed messages, and deliver to appropriate staff members -Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information in compliance with school policies -Assist with enrollment and registration -Support school events, meetings, and daily operations -Monitor the front office area to ensure a safe and well-organized environment -Provide medication to students and maintain medication logs -Maintain copy room and paper inventory This role requires professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining a positive, respective, and gossip-free work environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate's degree preferred - 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role - Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently - Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation - Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail - Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment Required documents after initial acceptance of position: - Copy of TB Test - Live Scan - Copy of CPR/First Aide Certificate
