Because of this, candidates must have a strong skillset with the ability to interface with all departments throughout the company on a daily basis.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position performs a variety of stockroom activities including, but not limited to receiving, kitting, order picking, outside service part fulfillment, printing and organizing work order paperwork and daily cycle counting. Must be a self-starter and perform job with minimal supervision.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive product and ensure that it is placed in the proper location within the stockroom. Maintain a clean work area and overall cleanliness of the stockroom. (i.e.: neatly organized, clean, and free of trash/boxes)
- Verify all counts before parts are transacted into software system. Address issues with appropriate personnel to their resolve.
- Ensure that customer orders are picked and labeled as required. Deliver to shipping department.
- Pull parts for work orders; ensure that transactions in software system are completed before kits leave area.
- Pull parts for outside service work orders; ensure that transactions in software system are completed before parts move to shipping.
- Fill material requisitions for Engineering and Production.
- Perform daily cycle counting and reconciliation.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, effectively work in a dynamic and driven environment.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere be acting and communicating in a professional manner as to maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and management.
- Adhere to safe work practices and comply with all Company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- High School Diploma
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of stockroom experience.
- ERP/MRP experience a plus. (SAP software).
- Strong interpersonal skills. Need to handle multiple priorities between managers.
- Able to multi-task.
- Highly organized.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work overtime, when necessary.
