DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to) :
Essential duties:
- Teaching one-three sections (depending on need) of predominantly first year algebra and/or statistics courses in each of the Fall and Spring semesters.
- Availability to teach in person, during the day. Classes run for 50 minutes per day three days per week (MWF) starting on the hour between 8am and 3pm.
- Preparing lessons/course material for each course following the syllabi/learning goals outlined by the course.
- Keeping up to date grades and attendance in the University’s Learning Management System (Canvas).
- Holding at least 1 office hour per week per course taught.
Required:
- Master’s Degree or above in Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in Mathematics or closely related majors
- Previous teaching experience and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling
