You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients—answering phones, scheduling appointments, and helping people navigate their healthcare journey with ease and empathy. What You’ll Be Doing
- Be the welcoming voice for patients calling Wichita Urology—answering and routing incoming calls with professionalism and warmth
- Schedule appointments using iSalus EHR (we’ll train you!)
- Use paging and voicemail systems to make sure messages get to the right folks
- Keep patient info accurate and up-to-date
- Hit weekly call goals (350-400 calls/week—we believe in setting clear and achievable targets!)
- Assist with patient registration and front desk needs when needed
- Uphold our clinic’s gold-standard of care and guest service: think of yourself as a concierge of kindness
- Protect patient confidentiality like a pro
- Tackle other administrative tasks to keep things running smoothly
- 1-2 years of phone operator and/or registration experience in a medical office preferred
- A knack for customer service—you love helping people
- Solid computer skills and comfort with multi-line phones
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- The ability to stay calm, clear, and kind—even on a busy day
- Excellent communication skills—you know how to listen and be heard
- You'll be sitting, standing, and walking as needed
- Visual focus is important—you’ll be looking at screens and documents often
- Fast-paced, patient-centered clinical environment
- Daily collaboration with physicians, staff, and amazing patients
