The Assistant General Manager of Operations (AGM Operations) oversees all back-of-house operations for an assigned group of retail stores, ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance, and loss prevention. This role is responsible for leading stock personnel, coordinating with airport facilities, and supporting the General Manager (GM) in achieving operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all incoming inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely product placement on the sales floor
- Lead and manage stock personnel and Stock Lead(s), including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Conduct second-round interviews for stock personnel, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates
- Serve as the primary liaison for Loss Prevention, working to reduce shrinkage due to theft or inventory discrepancies
- Act as the point person for Airport Compliance Programs, ensuring stores adhere to all regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Airport Facilities on maintenance, store builds, and emergency situations
- Act as Manager on Duty, performing opening and closing duties for the entire retail location
- Gain full proficiency in operational systems, including POS, StoreForce, ADP, Aptos, and PowerDMS
- Assist the General Manager with critical business initiatives, acting as a backup when needed
- Support visual merchandising efforts, ensuring store displays are well-maintained and aligned with brand standards
- Coach and manage stock team performance, providing feedback, training, and development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred
- 3 years of experience in retail inventory, warehouse, or stocking supervision
- 1 years of experience in a management or leadership role
- Proven ability to lead a team with a results-driven approach
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and inventory management systems
- TAM Card (Alcohol Beverage Awareness Certification) may be required, depending on location
- Must successfully complete the TSA Airport Badging Process, where applicable
- Employment may be contingent upon passing background checks and/or drug screening, based on location requirements
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
