The following are the exact positions:
1.Sunday 7a-3p, Monday 3p-9p, Monday 3p-9p, Tuesday 3p-9p, Wednesday 1:30p-9:30p, and Thursday 1:30-9:30p (Full time 72hrs/biweekly)
Friday 11p-7a and Thursday 3p-9p (Part-time 28 hrs/biweekly)
Friday 1p-6p, Saturday 3p-8p, Sunday 3p-8p(Part time 30 hrs/biweekly)
Hourly rate 18:46/hr and must have an active driver's license.
Required to work according to DDS knowledge of policies and procedures with individuals who require 100% of our time and attention and respect. PCP is essential for offering choices and building on peer to peer interactions and expected growth for daily opportunities.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them in their daily activities and promoting their independence. Your contributions will help enhance the quality of life for those in your care, ensuring their safety and well-being in various settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, and community environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide patient care and support in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Monitor clients' vital signs and overall health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary for client mobility.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Document daily activities, observations, and any incidents accurately.
Skills
Ideal candidates will possess a combination of the following skills:
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working in group homes or assisted living settings.
- Strong patient observation skills to monitor changes in behavior or health status.
- Experience with Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, or hospice care is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
- Familiarity with direct support practices for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Knowledge of home health care procedures and caregiving techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
